Achieve, a nonprofit consulting firm dedicated to creative fundraising and donor engagement, recently invited me (via Twitter) to attend the Millennial Impact Report Blogger Preview this Friday. If you’re not familiar with Achieve and their great work with millennial impact, here’s the scoop:
Millennial Impact Project
Achieve began the Millennial Impact project three years ago to learn about millennial engagement, specifically in the nonprofit sector in regards to volunteerism, communications, leadership and fundraising trends. In partnership with the Case Foundation, Achieve will present a full report and virtual conference (aka MCON12) this summer.
According to Achieve’s website, MCON12 is “an interactive online conference is for the nonprofit leader, including executives, digital strategists, fundraisers, volunteer organizers and marketers. Participants will no longer wonder how to engage Millennials, but rather how quickly they can get started. We will be bringing in the top experts to speak about the most relevant issues paired with the best examples of Millennial engagement in the nonprofit world.” The Millennial Impact Report will be released on June 11, and the conference takes place on July 19, 2012. Check out Achieve’s 2011 Millennial Research Report here.
MCON12 will feature over 30 speakers (from organizations like the Knight Foundation and Charity: Water) who will dive into various topics, such as: Millennials Creating Change in the Workplace, Building a Millennial Movement, and Inspiring Millennials To Give. View the full MCON12 schedule here.
